All ages and abilities welcome! Join Chuck Aid for our First-Wednesday Bird Walk on September 6, from 7:30 to 11:30. Bear Creek Lake Park includes the two Soda Lakes as well as the main Bear Creek Lake reservoir built at the confluence of Bear Creek and Turkey Creek. The lakes always have a few waterfowl and shorebirds, while the cottonwood gallery forest can have lots of small landbirds. In addition portions of the park have shortgrass prairie.

Bear Creek Lake Park has an entrance fee $7/car or $5/car for seniors (62+).

Bring water and a snack, dress for the blizzard just in case; and meet at the Evergreen Library at 7:30 AM. Or, we can meet you either in Morrison or in the park itself. Once I have a list of registrants I’ll be in touch to work out these options.

These walks are for Evergreen Audubon members and their guests. Non-members won’t be turned away, but will be encouraged to join Evergreen Audubon. You must register here to attend this event.  If you are registering for more than one person, please enter each person separately.  This event is filled when we have 12 registrants.
