    4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Members of Evergreen Audubon will be treated to a tour the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden to see examples of bird-friendly window design, some of which are suitable for residential use, in a commercial setting. Wildlife Biologist and Evergreen Audubon member, Tom Ryon, will discuss the issue of bird-window collisions and share how NREL, a leader in sustainable practices and research, is addressing it. The presentation starts at 4:00 pm at the NREL Education Center and will be followed by the tour which will wind up around 6:30.  Space is limited to 20 people.  A picture ID is needed to get through the gate. To register, contact Brad Andres at vicepresident@evergreenaudubon.org
